I buy media for a living, and build the software that checks the work.
I'm Nitan Jain. I'm the co-founder and CEO of XOR Labs, a growth marketing agency, and co-founder of Vaizle, an AI marketing analyst. Both bootstrapped, both built in Chandigarh. Most of my week now goes into Vaizle.

Vaizle
Two businesses, one problem
One runs the media. The other reads what the media actually did to the business. They share a team, an office and a parent company — XOR Labs Pvt. Ltd.
XOR Labs
Co-founder & CEOWe plan and buy performance media, and we are accountable for what it returns. D2C wellness and nutrition, pharma, edtech, apparel, medical devices, commerce roll-ups and SaaS — HyugaLife, Fitelo, Emcure Pharma, Zivame, Be10x, Omron, Abhishti, 10Club, Zenoti and roughly three hundred others.
Vaizle
Co-founderConnect your ad accounts, social pages, web analytics, Shopify store and competitors to one chat, then ask questions in plain language. No dashboard to build first. It started as the manual checks we were already running for clients, and it is now the thing I spend most of my time on.
We get that question a lot. Usually with a small pause before it, and a look that is trying to work out how the arithmetic holds.
XOR Labs started in 2014 with three friends from GZCET — Siddharth Dwivedi, Shavi Pathania and me. No outside funding. No family money. No industry contacts. And no Mumbai, no Bangalore, no Delhi. We built it in Chandigarh, which is a good place to live and a hard place to build, because nobody in this business assumes the answer is coming from here.
Twelve years later, both Meta and Google have brought their own clients into rooms we ran. We are the only agency in this region that has done both.
The pause before the question is fine. We have got used to it.
Still the same three
How the two got built
Three friends from GZCET start XOR Labs in Chandigarh. We buy media and are accountable for what it returns.
To publish a digital marketing report on the IPL, we write a small social analytics tool. We call it Sazer, short for social analyzer.
Reports on the IPL, the Pro Kabaddi League and a hundred Indian startups. Hundreds of brands download them. Sazer becomes Vaizle.
Vaizle goes live for marketers and agencies. A year later it is one of the most reviewed marketing analytics products on AppSumo.
The client list widens past D2C into pharma, edtech, apparel, medical devices and SaaS. The system — teams, processes, SOPs — is what makes that possible.
Ad analysis is added. Vaizle becomes a full analytics suite covering paid and social, not just social.
Five thousand marketers around the world are using it.
A marketing analyst you talk to, starting with Meta Ads. Not another dashboard — the checks we used to run by hand, answering in plain language. This is the direction everything else now points at.
Meta co-brands the Chandigarh Growth Summit with us. Google India builds a client conclave around our festive playbook.
Vaizle AI becomes multi-platform: ads, social, web analytics, Shopify and competitor research in one chat.
₹1,200 crore of media run for 300+ brands. $100M+ of ad spend analysed inside Vaizle. Still no outside capital.
The ad account is not the business.
Twelve years of buying media for other people teaches you that one thing no dashboard will. An account can report its best month while the business quietly bleeds.
Somebody always asks how the account is doing. The honest answer always needed more than the account. Here is the month that made us build something.
Nobody was lying to anybody. We had simply not sent the platform the checkout, the refunds or the margin. An incomplete picture is confident in exactly the same way a complete one is.
So we built past it — spreadsheets, scripts, manual checks, client after client. We rebuilt the same thing so many times that eventually we stopped rebuilding it and turned it into Vaizle.
Context is what changes the answer.
The model was never the hard part. What stands behind it is — the store, the refunds, the margin, the competitor. That is the whole bet Vaizle is making.
My job is to find the next thing that breaks — then solve it once, properly.
Into the product
Most of what I learn becomes a feature in Vaizle.
Into the team
The rest becomes a process at XOR Labs that nobody asked for.
Into the room
What's left I give away from a stage, to marketers about to hit the same wall.
The open question right now is what happens when buyers stop searching and start asking a model. Nobody knows the final shape of it. Working it out before it costs anyone money is the job.
I do not do motivational
I bring an account, a number that disagrees with another number, and a framework you can use on Monday.

Startup Conclave
Google India built a client acquisition event around the XOR Labs festive playbook. Eight sessions. Two of them were mine, sitting between slots run by Google's own Strategic Agency Managers.
- The festive growth playbook. Six months, five acts, one demand curve. Ganesh Chaturthi to Valentine's.
- AI for performance marketing. What changes when the model can see the store, not just the account.
- Panel — Unlocking the growth advantage. With Kumud Kandpal (Omron), Dhrumil Pandya (DMI Finance) and Rohit Radhakrishnan (Google India).

- India SME Forum x Meta — Growth Academy. Visakhapatnam, May 2026. Digitally enabling micro and small enterprises.
- Rabbitt AI — CXO roundtable. Pre-event of the AI World Education Summit 2026: building AI-powered organisations.
Keynotes and workshops
Four talks I give, built for conferences, corporate offsites, agency teams and platform-led summits. Each one can be cut to a 45-minute keynote or opened out into a workshop.
The account is not the business
Why platform efficiency and business health regularly disagree, using a real account where they did. For founders and marketing leads who approve budgets.
The festive growth playbook
Six months, five acts, one demand curve. Planning demand states instead of festivals.
AI for performance marketing
What changes when the model can see your store, and what does not change at all.
Marketing across verticals
Brand spend versus performance spend, and what transfers between pharma, edtech, D2C and SaaS.

Nothing beats a good story.
I watch drama, and I have noticed I keep watching the same film.
The road
My longest drive was 2,400 km — Chandigarh to Mandawa, then Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, and home. Two more since, each around 2,000. Kerala a few times. Every metro in the country, usually for meetings, which I do not mind at all.
The first thing I look for in a new city is its bazaar. You learn more about a market standing in one for an hour than you will from any category report.
Books
Non-fiction and travel writing. William Dalrymple — Nine Lives, and everything after. Aravind Adiga. Gurcharan Das, India Unbound. John Brooks, Business Adventures. The Ascent of Money. Ruchir Sharma. And Dostoevsky's White Nights, which is none of the above and which I return to anyway.
I write poetry. I don't publish it.
